date) From March 2015 to date, working as a
Planner scheduler in the Infrastructure group of Fort hills project. My Key
responsibilities are to plan, monitor and mitigate the Project schedule.
While monitoring the schedules if there is a potential slippage it is
highlighted in a timely manner so that proper mitigation steps can be taken
to bring back the critical milestones on track, slippages are mitigated by
increasing the resources, working on shifts or by modifying the schedule so
that more activities are done in parallel and thus shortening the critical
path duration and bringing the schedule on target. Have done regular site
visits and have audited the 3 weeks look ahead schedule for compliance. Have
verified the progress reported by the contractors. have produced different
reports while monitoring the projects in Primavera 6, which include Look
ahead schedules, schedule variance reports, critical path analysis, progress
S-curve and manpower histograms. Have produced man-hours histograms in
Primavera and have ensured that there are no peaks and troughs in the
resource loading, it has been ensured that schedules are leveled to such an extent
that the available resources are utilized to the best manner. Have provided
value added guidelines to different contractors on how to produce value added
schedules and reports. Responsible for analyzing the contractor Baseline
Schedules for accuracy of planning / scheduling. Planner / Scheduler Sustaining projects (June 2011 to March
2015) Worked as a planner / scheduler for
Sustaining projects, have worked independently on preparing schedules for
different Phases of the projects using Primavera P6, and have monitored and
controlled the projects. While Planning the construction activities have used
Man-hours and crew composition / size to calculate accurate durations. While
monitoring the schedules have provided timely information to the project team
about the potential delays in the project. Have done critical path analysis
and have worked on mitigating the delays in the critical milestones. Thus
making sure that slippage of critical milestones is stopped. Have worked on
Schedule driven projects and have ensured with the help of Project team that
the critical milestone dates are not slipped. For accelerated or schedule
driven projects have done a series of meetings with stake holders and have
accelerated the schedules by reducing the duration of critical activities, by
bringing in extra resources and performing critical activities in parallel.
Have actively coordinated with EP houses and Construction Planners, and have
provided valuable and positive guidelines for producing effective schedules,
critical paths and S-curves. I have analyzed the schedules produced by
Contractors and have mitigated the potential delays. Have produced manpower
histograms and Progress S-curves. I have produced schedule Variances reports,
using Indicators to highlight slippage. Have built the resource dictionary
for Sustaining Projects in Primavera. With my strong verbal and written
communication skills I have presented meaningful project reports to the
project stake holders. I have single handedly worked on projects for Upgrading
and Extraction. Senior Scheduler Turnaround group (April 2011 to Jun 2011) Worked as a Senior Scheduler in Suncor
turnaround scheduling group. Have produced and completed single handedly, in
a very short period of time, the schedule for Upgrading Coker for 2011
turnaround. Responsibilities included assigning relevant activity Codes,
creating logic between different phases of Turnaround schedule. Due to strong
skills in Primavera 6, have actively participated in the daily meetings. Have
used Pipeline software for transferring new scope and fresh work orders to
Primavera 6 from SAP. Have created reports on Critical Paths. Responsible for
replacing in Primavera the internal resources with contractor resources. Maintenance Planner /
scheduler Mobile Support Equipment Maintenance: (Jan
2007 to Apr 2011) Have worked for Mobile support equipment
maintenance Planning department, responsibilities included the Planning and
scheduling of corrective jobs for LVF, Support and Field equipments
(including pumps gen. sets etc). The jobs were planned and scheduled with a
high accuracy. Planning of jobs (done in SAP) was based on Norms that were
collected from shop and also Norms were taken from labor guides. Have also
worked on adding BOMs in SAP. The schedules were leveled to fully utilize
the available resource capacities and to avoid peaks and troughs in the
required manpower with respect to available manpower. The schedules were
prepared by using SAP and GWOS, Microsoft access was also used to facilitate
the scheduling activities. In total four different types of schedules were
prepared in a week’s time. Comprehensive reports were prepared after
analyzing the schedule loading for next week, on the basis which CFT approved
the schedules. The schedules produced were of very high standards, it was
ensured that schedules were not overloaded with respect to manhours. While
reducing the work load a thorough analysis was done for the compliance of
previous schedules and the prime object was not to compromise the reliability
of the units while reducing the work load. While re-scheduling the backlog it
was ensured that units have maximum uptime and do not have too frequent
downtime. Have prepared schedule compliance reports. Worked in Mine planning and scheduling
department and actively participated in the preparation of the schedule of
the shutdown of a Shovel using Primavera 6. The responsibilities included
creating the Work breakdown structure and modifying the logic. Introducing
the fresh activities in the plan. Support Services: (Oct 2006 to Jun 2007) Worked for Support Services department and
was responsible for scheduling the crane’s work orders for different capacity
of cranes, which were used by Upgrading, Extraction and Mine departments.
Schedule compliance reports were prepared. Cranes scheduled were 30tons,
65tons, 80tons and 110tons. Have used Primavera and GWOS for scheduling
purposes. Facilities: (May 2006 to Oct 2006) Worked for Facilities department and was
responsible for scheduling the maintenance jobs for HVAC, Electrical and
Piping work. The schedules were leveled to optimize the available capacities.
Two schedule were prepared every week one for the West side of the plant and
other for East side of the plant. Used Primavera and GWOS for scheduling purposes. 06/2004 – 05/2006 Worley Parsons (Arabia) company Saudi Arabia Planner / Scheduler Prepared resource loaded schedules using
Primavera, for different design projects and proposals and also planned and
scheduled construction projects with resource loading using Primavera.
Prepared the master schedule and analyzed work load for different design
departments (including Civil, Piping Mechanical, and Communications).
Produced S-curves, manpower histograms and productivity reports for monitoring
the projects. Analyzed the projects using different techniques such as
schedule variance analysis using Primavera. While monitoring the schedules it
was ensured that critical milestones and activities are not slipped and
different techniques were used to mitigate the affect of slippage on the
projects, which included increasing the manpower (or allowing overtime) for
critical activities and re-scheduling or delaying non critical activities.
Worked on project data using InControl software. Single handedly prepared a
two thousand activities level two schedule on Primavera, for an ARAMCO
construction project. Worked as a planner and scheduler for the Diamonium
Phosphate project, responsibilities included preparing level 2 schedules for
different phases of the project, using Primavera Project Planner and
Microsoft Project. 05/2003 – 04/2004 JAL International company Saudi Arabia Industry: Construction 1 Million Ton / Year Ethylene Plant –

prepared by contractors, in order to find the delays in the critical
milestones by doing schedule variance analysis on Primavera P3. Provided
timely inputs (using primavera) to project teams to ensure that critical
milestones were not delayed. In case the delay was foreseen (by using
schedule variance analysis) then it was ensured that critical activities are
not slipped, which included increasing of manpower or providing incentives to
work force (like overtime) for critical activities and at the same time
delaying the non critical activities (thus managing the available manpower),
thus ensuring critical activities are controlled. The logic of critical path
activities was modified to execute more activities in parallel or
simultaneously in order shorten the duration of the schedule, thus to ensure
that that there was no slippage in critical milestones. Have done progress
audits by collecting the physical progress from site and comparing it with
the progress reporting system of planning department. Analyzed and verified
